Our poultry is raised on pasture.  This means that they are free to be chickens, not housed in a factory.  They have free access to sunshine, bugs, fresh air, and green pasture.  They are fed non-medicated grain and are completely free from any additives in their diet. 

We began raising poultry for own use, wanting all natural meat and eggs without any "unknowns".  A great surprise was that our  poultry and eggs were also the best we had ever tasted.  Studies by the USDA have also shown that grass fed poultry are also healthier and more nutritious.
Pastured eggs:

• have 10% less fat
• 34% less cholestorol
• 40% more Vitamin A
• 400% more Omega-3 fatty acids (ref: USDA Sustainable Agriculture & Research Education Program)

Starting in April, we wil take orders for pasture raised broilers. 

You can order any amount you want.  Some folks take 25 and have a freezer full for the year.  Or just order a couple; there is no minimum.
